3 Trends, With A Long Island Island Advertising Agency, In The New Year

By Robert Sutter

No one can argue with the importance of marketing, especially in the year of 2015. It's one of the strongest avenues to draw attention to and I am sure that any Long Island advertising agency can attest to this, given the work that they are responsible for. As we look at how marketing changes, in regards to social media or otherwise, one has to wonder what the biggest trends of the new year will be. With this in mind, I believe it's important to focus on these 3 particular trends.

To kick off this list, the year of 2015 is likely to see an increase in engaging content being created. There's no reason as to why this can't be believed, especially when more companies are likely to surface during this year. With hungry, new competitors in the fray, marketers will have to ramp up the production of content so that they will not only keep their current audiences but bring in new individuals as well. Without content, results will not be seen.

Another one of the many changes that a Long Island advertising agency may observe, in 2015, is an increase in hashtag usage. It's something that I have observed in multiple fields, whether it's sports channels, television programs, or what have you. Hashtags are designed to spur engagement, regardless of the topic being discussed. Expect to see the prevalence of hashtags go up, which is a point that authorities along the lines of fishbat can support.

The expansion of different networks will be another marketing trend to focus on. As most of us know, the most common platforms include Facebook and Twitter; this does not mean that these are the only ones to be used during 2015. In fact, with the rise of other channels like Tsu, it's clear that marketers will have to create new content or re-purpose older content for those very websites. The act of reaching out to others has changed, which is a point that very few can overlook.

No one can deny the fact that marketing endeavors are going to change over the course of time. In 2015, in my view, there's going to be an increased level in activity, whether it's in relation to social media pages, unique websites, and other such platforms. As a result, marketing endeavors are most likely going to have to change as well. With these ideas in mind, hopefully such practices change things for the better so that greater returns are ultimately seen.
