Knowing All About Marvel Action Figures

By Patty Goff

Each and every year comic book people hold conventions that are held across the country. Many of the dealers at these conventions sell marvel action figures. They know that people are always willing to buy certain products that were made from the famous Mego company. Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Girl, The Thing, Hulk, Spider Man, The Human Torch, Conan and Thor are a few of the statues that have been made over time.

Everyone who reads comic books really enjoy the great looking character named Thor. He was first created by Stan Lee and is a fan favorite to many collectors throughout the world. Thor wears an unusual costume which comes equipped with a helmet and hammer.

He has long blond hair which flows down his back and it is always neat. Whenever a new toy company makes this figure they will always make a hammer that is oversized and mold Thor's hair. Mego was sure to give Thor nice rooted hair and the fans really appreciated this gesture.

Young girls and boys really enjoyed having a Sue Storm doll when they were growing up. Fans everywhere knew that Sue was the Invisible Girl who could make herself and other objects disappear. She was part of the Fantastic Four group and the only female among the males. There was a movie made about this character and her teammates a few years ago and it did really well at the box office. Mattel jumped on the band wagon and made their own version of this figure after the movie was released.

His name is Reed Richards and he is part of the group known as the Fantastic Four. This man is also know as Mr. Fantastic and his name fits him very well. The original Reed Richards doll was introduced by Mego and it is a true classic. He is dressed in his blue outfit and has molded boots and gloves. Toy Biz used the same face of their Peter Parker doll when they created Mr. Fantastic.

The Incredible Hulk is another legendary character who has been around for decades and people still enjoy buying his image. There are many versions of this creature which are made from different toy industries. Once again Mego introduced the best version of the Hulk since he had removable clothing. His clothes were molded onto his body whenever other toy people created this figure.

Young men really looked up to the character of Spider Man since he was a person who was actually weak during his civilian life. There were many cartoon shows based upon this character and all of them were very successful. The people with Mego made a figure that was identical to this television and comic book legend.

Lucky children everywhere were very delighted to know that these particular clothes could be placed into the washer machine whenever possible. People should realize that this company also made eight inch versions of Spiderman's arch enemies The Green Goblin and The Lizard.
