Can A Social Media Marketing Coach Assist Digital Buys

To say that I play games often is an understatement, so I find myself paying attention to a number of facets when I go about doing so. For example, I see the amount of titles in digital marketplaces and I would have been tempted to purchase if I knew that there were actual incentives on my part. It seems like home consoles have the worst time trying to keep up with the advances seen in the realm of PC gaming. Consoles can definitely make use of a social media marketing coach.

First of all, I know that it's sometimes normal for digital purchases to be relatively cheaper than those you are able to find at stores. It's not hard to see why, since you do not have to worry about physical cases, discs, manuals, and what have you. The expenses in these regard are not seen, so it should be simple enough to knock the price down $5 to $10, right? Well, this isn't the case for all companies and it's unfortunate to see that there are entities which do not understand.

For example, Nintendo has recently brought full-blown digital games to its Wii U eShop, which is a tremendous step for a company that many entities believed was stuck in the past. However, as stated before, instead of the games being reduced, consumers are expected to pay the full $59.99 for these titles on release date. Why is it that a company like this, which has been around for so long, has fallen into the same trap? Why has every company sunk into the pit in question?

It's hard to say but it is clear that consumers desire incentive to purchase these games on a market as opposed to a physical one. What exactly are they going to get from making purchases over the Internet as opposed to going to a store and buying the same item, only with tangible represenations to be seen? I think that a social media marketing coach would say that there should be better deals set in place so that they look more attractive. Attracting consumers is the name of the game for authorities like S-M-M-C.

I can name a couple of examples which may be feasible for consumers, such as 10% off of purchases in order to account for the lack of physical media. However, it's possible for gamers to make preorders from digital markets and then have the ability to play these games a couple of days before the actual launch date. "Pikmin 3" recently had a deal like this for GameStop consumers. These ideas should be seen in greater scope, from my perspective and potentially that of many others.
